The American National Standards Institute/Electronic Industries Alliance (ANSI/EIA) has Standard 748, “Earned Value Management System Guidelines” for applying earned value. From this standard, 32 guidelines were developed and are now used by many government agencies as a baseline for Earned Value Management Systems.
